'Grass Clippings' - Paper Print
Paper Material:
High quality giclée paper print.
Grass Clippings is part of a collection of recent works that delves into our emotional, psychological and social well-being or in other words our mental health.
I live on one acre just on the outskirts of the Moreton Bay region. I am always inspired by the offerings of my landscape. I actually find maintaining my space quite therapeutic and wanted to encapsulate all that I enjoy. I spent a couple of days working on this piece whilst shooing the chooks out of my nasturtiums and felt it fitting to add them.
Grass Clippings is another symbolic reference to the head chatter, self talk we all experience.
I try to create works that make us look closer at ourselves and try to find the positive such as the bountiful things in our gardens if we pay attention.
