'Pitch Perfect' - Limited Edition Canvas Print

Pitch Perfect is part of a series that delves into our emotional, psychological and social well-being or in other words our mental health. This piece focuses on the noise within our personal speak, our head chatter. The stream of mental associations that flow through, thoughts about pasts and futures, fragments of songs or conversations, daydreams or alternative realities. I chose to adorn this being with colour, joyfulness and beauty as a symbol of love and good luck. Often symbolized in the hummingbird. The pitcher plants also a nod to the volume of self talk we bestow upon our selves. I hope this piece can be a reminder of the need for positive self talk and the importance of loosing oneself in song amongst the flowers and the birds.
