'The Mind's Eye' - Limited Edition Canvas Print

The Third Eye is the center of our intuition. It is what binds our higher self and our conscious self. It it the peak part of us that is knowing and aware of our experiences, emotions and body.
The human body is made up of distinct parts -
The physical - experiences in the world, our physiology, our ability to heal
The Emotional - It is where our experience of the world is synthesized and interpreted.
The Mental - All things intellectual, including analytical thought, how we process information, how we educate, and speak. Including focus, clarity, direction, and contributions to creation and society.
The Spiritual - The unity of all living things, including the union between our soul, life experience, and destiny.

Hair is symbolic throughout my work as our external soul, an extension of our crown Chakra. An extension of our physical, whilst also being an expression of our personalities and properties of a person.

The peacock is known for its flashy and elaborate feathers. They are the personification of beauty and grace, teaching us to be respectful, courageous. They are a symbol the Divine self realized, purified and cleansed. Ancient stories and cultures revered them as gifts from the gods.

This piece embodies these symbolic elements as a safe space, forest grove, shrine or sacred place of protection. In which to bring our intuition and knowing to light.
